MOUNT DORA NEWS

Coley, Edwards — who hit it big in the '70s — to perform in Mount Dora

MOUNT DORA — Singers and musicians Jonathan Edwards and John Ford Coley have two things in common. They both love the sound of an acoustic guitar and they both placed high on the charts in the 1970s.

Edwards hit it big straight out of the box with his anthem to independence, "Sunshine (Go Away Today)" in 1971 and Coley, with partner "England" Dan Seals, had a monster hit with the soft rock song, "I'd Really Like to See You Tonight" in 1976.

They will perform together in the Mount Dora Community Building at 4 p.m. Sunday. Read more...
