As the Front Door to the community, The Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce (MDACC) is located in the historic Atlantic Coast Line Train Depot on Alexander Street. The Chamber is the community's Welcome Center, Information and Resource Location and an Automated Ticket Sales Site for local tours, events and concerts for both visitors and residents.
Residents frequent the Visitor Center to purchase tickets, stay current on local happenings and just to visit with the warm and friendly staff.
Tourists make the Chamber their first stop to obtain maps, partner brochures, restaurant and lodging listings, purchase tickets and plan itineraries for their visits. The Visitor Center staff offers a warm welcome to Mount Dora as well as a sharing of knowledge around the history of this great community and current happenings that suit the visitor's tastes.
The mission of the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce is to remain actively involved in developing, promoting and sustaining an economically viable community while also preserving the community's character and the quality of life of its citizens.
Through on-going programs, community outreach, chamber alliance relationship and a dedicated board and staff, the Chamber is committed to being a perpetual force in attaining community objectives.
