    We are home to a Grade-A, up-to-the minute in technology hospital that was built in Lake County in 2013. With expertise in Cancer Treatment, Children's Medicine, Emergency and Urgent Care, Heart and Vascular Disease, Imaging Services, Mother and Baby Care, Sports Medicine and Rehab Care and more, these available medical  services are paramount to a communities viability.

    Lake County Schools is the 19th largest public school district in the state of Florida, serving approximately 42,000 students across 51 learning sites. From preschool to post-secondary education, our mission is to provide every student with individual opportunities to excel.

      Parks


       Well maintained parks are sprinkled on and around glorious Lake Dora. From sitting under the shady oak trees, to a day at the playground with the kids, our Parks offer something for everyone. Some are available to rent for special activities like birthday parties and weddings.

      

  • Utilities


    The city owns and operates its municipal electric utility that serves more than 5,800 customers. The city purchases wholesale power from Duke Energy and takes delivery at the Mount Dora Substation.
