All ages are invited to celebrate our first Arbor Day, at Forest Preserve! Meet Mount Dora’s new Urban Forester and learn more about trees – plus children are invited to a free Tree Lab. Refreshments served. No registration required. 2:00 PM – Tree-Planting Ceremony with refreshments! 2:30 PM – Tree Lab for children ages 12 & under – free seedlings! 2:30 PM – Tree Care program for adults with door prizes! 3:00 – 3:30 PM – Scavenger hunt for all ages – 50 free trees! Sponsored by the Mount Dora Friends of the Environment & the Friends of the Library.
