Maundy Thursday - First United Method...Description
“Maundy Thursday” derives its name from the Latin word for “mandatum” or “command” which refers to the instructions Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper. The Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 6 at 7:00 pm at First United Methodist Service of Mount Dora will explore Jesus’ commands to love and serve one another through music, a dramatic reenactment of Jesus’ last supper, and communion.
