Position: Part-Time Staff Member
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, including some weekends
Location: Mount Dora, FL
Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors with information about Mount Dora
• Engage with the public, Chamber members in a positive manner
• Use proper business etiquette when corresponding via phone and email
• Coordinate and support chamber events
• Prospect, secure and manage bookings for the Train Depot event room
• Perform light lifting (up to 30 lbs) and set up of the event room
• Use Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs for various tasks
Requirements:
• Preferably a resident of Mount Dora with good local knowledge
• Positive, friendly attitude and a team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
